Township Board

Public Hearing - September 10, 2024

The Township Board will conduct a Public Hearing during its regular meeting on September 10th, 6:00 pm, at the Garfield Township Hall, 3848 Veterans Drive, Traverse City, MI. The item to be considered is the property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget. See the Public Hearing Notice for further information.

Planning Commission

Public Hearing - September 11, 2024

The Planning Commission will conduct a Public Hearing during its regular meeting on September 11th, 7:00 pm, at the Garfield Township Hall, 3848 Veterans Drive, Traverse City, MI   The item to be considered at the public hearing is an application submitted by Burdco, Inc. requesting a Special Use Permit (SUP) amendment for a proposed expansion of French Manor LaFranier, an existing adult foster care facility at 3090 LaFranier Road. Zoning Board of Appeals

Public Hearing - September 19, 2024

The ZBA will conduct a Public Hearing during its regular meeting on September 19th, 6:00 pm at the Garfield Township Hall, 3848 Veterans Drive, Traverse City, MI. The item to be considered at the public hearing is a request made by Kathy Boyd, a resident at 1669 Lake Drive, to appeal the issuance of a Land User Permit for grading and drainage activities on 1661 Lake Drive.  See Public Hearing Notice for further information.
