CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF GARFIELD DEPUTY PLANNER: The Charter Township of Garfield (population 16,695), located adjacent to the City of Traverse City, Michigan, is currently accepting resumes for the position of Deputy Planner. Requires: Bachelors Degree in planning, urban studies, environmental studies, geography, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or similar field. Three to five years of municipal experience. This position requires strong skills in land use planning, proficiency in writing, GIS Applications, strong presentation and communication skills, computer and research skills, and the ability to work both independently and as a team member.
